Well, had my 1st reflexology today, and have to say I loved it. She was really good, no pain (sorry Lu!)

Stiff neck, blocked endocrine system and a sore pelvis (which plagues me when I run so was impressed she picked it up!)
She also worked to make sure my fallopian tubes were clear and my ovaries were both functioning. Really weird but when she did my ovaries I could feel it tingling across my feet/legs so hopefully O will be soon.
Have another appointment next Friday (after O) and the week after.

Definitely gets the thumbs up from me

Sorry girls for being ignorent here but why are you going to reflexology appts....I may have missed the thread so I was just curious as to what it is for?? Sorry for not doing my homework

Don't worry! It's meant to generally relax you and destress you which can help given that stress is known to cause fertility problems. They can also sense if you have ovarian or fallopian tube blockages etc and can work at freeing it all up. My cousin does it and said that after a session, if you don't want to get pg you should double up on contraception! So thought it was worth a go.

Unfortunately for me, far from being relaxing, it was very painful and my feet and legs are still tender - my session was on Tuesday! I think I'm the exception to the rule though, there's alot of other who have had very positive experiences.

did you tell them it was for fertility reasons? i have been reading up on it and they reckon that it has a really high success rate. anything is worth a go right?! was just wondering if they do a different session if it is specifically for fertility etc.

Ooh girls ive done it, ive just booked an appt, i thought if i dont do it today ill never bother, found a local lady and she sounds really nice straight away on the phone told me what shed be looking to do etc with me ttc, so fingers crossed but im not going to get my hopes up, just hoping itll do me some good for my other body parts too!
