When is it best to try?

The whole ovulation thing really confuses me, I come on and i come off, thats about as much notice as I take.

When is the best time to try ... I came off my period day before yesterday!

If you have a 28 day period then it is roughly about day 14, with day 1 being the day you "come on"

you would be best to read up on it, maybe something like this......
http://www.ovulation-calendar.com/ovulation-faq.html
or
http://www.epigee.org/menstruation/ovulation.html

I hope these help

My DH and I start trying as soon as AF leaves. The norm is ovulation happens about days 10-14 of your cycle. This isn't the case for everyone though. Good luck hun

I'd say on average about day 14 depending on how long your cycle is. but if you want to take the guess work out, become a poas addict like the rest of us and start on the opks!!!

Yep - I agree with the above - try an ovulation prediction kit!

A lot of studies have shown that BDing a day or two before ovulation is the peak time. It allows sperm to have enough time to 'get up' the tubes in time for the egg to be freshly released.

You may want to try BDing every couple of days (since you aren't sure when you OV--I honestly never knew for certain when I ovulated either until I joined this forum and started reading other peoples experiences)

Yes, you should BD every other day. I have a 28 day cycle (normally) so day 1 is the first day of 'red flow'. Then i start BD around day 6 when AF has gone (or as early as you want to).
