I hate my doctor too!! Idiot, the EPAC told me that if my doctor had seen me to confirm my pregnancy this time (instead of confirming it through the receptionist!!) Then my miscarriage might have been prevented!!!! Could have had extra folic acid or asprin or talked about further monitoring!!! So i hate him now!!!

I know how u feel u get all psyched up to tell them what u want and they just talk over u like u r dumb!!!! Kick their asses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you should see your doc when he gets back and tell him how completely unprofessional the locum was!

Re the postive/negative thing.
I've had 2 in the past 6 months - first time i got 3 positives then my period, the second time i got a faint line then nothing after.

Have you been getting them every single month??

I know statistically 80% of first pregnancies end this way but that's first pregnancies - my doctor told me to try and not test early but smiled, touched my arm and said she knew i would still keep doing it! She also said that if it didn't continue happening to go back.

So i would do just that, go back for a 2nd opinion from your proper doctor and put in a complaint - GPs are suppsoed to have a caring supportive nature!

Rachelle1975 - this has pretty much happened to me every cycle since we have been trying. It is really getting me down now so really unsure of where we are at. I just wanted doc to say that there was something that could be done - but because i have had 2 children they are reluctant to do anything. it is so frustrating. If it was my first then they would say well it happens, and because it isn't they are saying well we know there is nothing wrong with you! it is just untrue - i know so many women who have developed problems AFTER they have already had one baby....so clearly the body has a mind of its own!
I agree that there must be something that can be done - aspirin or whatever...but they just won't tell me. Feel like they are just fobbing me off as a neurotic woman. but am going to see my normal GP next week - he is really lovely, so am hoping i will get a little further with him. Plus i trust him, so if he says there is nothing that can be done then i will be more inclined to believe him. I wish there was someone else out there who had had this so many times happening - i feel as though i am just on my own with this.
