Very very very very FAINT BFP!!! Help!

As the title says..........

I'm worried I'm seeing things but think that I have seen enough BFN's to know that this is not!?!

DH says he can't see anything but I think he's worried I'm getting my hopes up because it is sooooooooooooooooo faint................

He wants me to take the second test in the pack at 8.30pm as that will be 4hrs after my faint BFP as I had only had a pee 45mins before testing so I had to squeeze to take the test.......

Do very very very faint BFP's stick?

any advice welcome x

my advice to you is put up a thread in the test area and add a picture if you could...and im sure more ladies would be glad to help you =)

You'll get a bunch of responses if you post a thread in the pregnancy test gallery section. Even if you don't have a picture (although pictures help tons!) you might still get some helpful advice. Just be sure to say what kind of test you used, how many days past ovulation you are, and when AF is due.

On a side note, if it is a First Response Early Result test, do NOT trust the super faint line. Tons of ladies have been getting false positives with very faint second lines. This is due to the new Polymeric Amplification Technology (PAT) that the makers of FRER have introduced to the antibody strip.

I'd say if you got a faint today, chances are it'll be darker tomorrow. I'd save the test and do it in the morning! Hope its your BFP

I am going through this exact thing right now.
I had a very faint BFP on the 23rd.....
Have tested a lot of time and I have never had an evap or a positive before.... so when I saw this slight line i knew it was something.

Today BFN
I am on 23DPO (normally 14-16).
I am having some PG symptoms
have been having brown blood for about a week (just when I wipe)

Its hard and sucks

So I hope faint ones stick....or I have no idea whats going on with me either

I just went through the same thing -- tested positive (mine was what I would consider faint, about 1/2 the color of the test line -- just figured it was chemical) AND had brown discharge, to include the day after very minimal bright red bleeding.. then poof gone.. Waited for AF to get here, never showed.. Took a CB digi an hour ago (this was four days after the first positive) and whamo

. This week has been insane.... I'm still in shock.. SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY, but in shock. That stuff, that limbo, that rollercoaster ride.. you're so right.. It sucks and it takes a bit of time to "unstrap yourself and get off the ride".

happened to me too hun. i tested late last sunday night and i could see a very very very faint line. OH couldnt see anything and didnt want me getting my hopes up either. then took one on monday morning first thing and it was still very very faint but OH could kind of see it. waited till tuesday afternoon took one and again faint line and then wednesday morning same thing. these were all tesco hpts btw. then i waited till friday morning and did a first response and got my BFP as clear as anything

so fingers crossed for you hun xx

I tested last night with the Boots test the line was a little darker but still v v v v faint... Bought and tested with a CB digi this afternoon and got my BFP YAY! It said Pregnant 1-2 weeks which is about 4 weeks for when the gp will work it out...... FX'd it a sticky one x
