I told hin that we'd been ttc actively since Charlie was born and he's 20 months today, and that I'd seen one of the other doctors in the practice 8 months ago and she'd done an internal and bloods, and told me all was well and to come back in 6 months. He started telling me how to conceive and when my fertile days were!

After sitting there listening to his lecture for a good couple of minutes, I managed to get a word in and tell him that I know all there is to know about ttc as I'm a member of this forum!!!
I told him that I know when I O as I get pains, and that I know all about fertile days, and best positions and times to BD. I said we'd tried all ways and agter 20 months, I just wanted some tests to prove everything is still okay.
So he's finally agreed to refer us to the Assisted Pregnancy Unit!

It's about a 10 week wait, but it's a start. Hoping beyond hope that we won't need it, but I'd rather get the ball rolling.
Even Stu seems pleased, and he's one of these "relax and it'll happen" people.
I feel like I've finally taken control!
