Sorry hun I would have suggested a bombardment of your doc to get the physical pain diagnosed and treated but you've obviously already gone that route with the operation. Really hope this gets sorted for you. xxxx

Our days are so long and busy with our jobs and DS that while the desire is there the body is TIRED!

i have heard that increasing physical activity can increase sex drive. i can attest to the opposite, as when i was running many miles a day, i was much more...antsy. and when i gave up my sport, i am now up for it when i tell myself ok ok you are not that tired, do it!! i am right with you with all the excuses. for a while i thought i was age, just growing a bit older and tired (and im only 24) but i truly think now, after reading that, that it is in fact my decreased physical activity. i intend to start excercising more regularly now....

I can relate to this one!! I have a pretty healthy sex drive but my lovely other half works so much that its difficult to get things going..lol! The main thing for me is to get busy at ov time and the rest of the time i dont stress about it

Ah you aren't alone and i don't even have the excuse of young children!

My job is pretty horrible and stressful and i deal with some really awful things - has an impact on the sex life unfortunately but DH is very understanding!!

Got married last year and then had a 6 week honeymoon which picked the old sex drive up!

Now the BD is working a bit better - it's amazing how easy it is to put out when you both want something!! DH says he loves the fact i'm doing all th running - cheeky blighter!!!!

Only downside is that from CD18 he prob doesn't get any action as i start to get stressed and grumpy waiting for that

I also have a low sex drive...makes it difficult TTC, especially as I don't want DH to feel like I'm just using him as a sperm donor! He finds my low libido difficult to deal with anyway, so I'm trying really hard to make him feel wanted (he thinks it's cos I don't fancy him any more........but that's not true!).

I was seeing a sex therapist for a while as my problem stems from nasties in my past. I think it was helping, but it got too expensive so I had to stop. I just thank my lucky stars for preseed as that's helping the TTC journey to happen!!!

I'm glad you've had medical help for the physical side of things. If you've got the cash, a therapist might help you to break back in gently?

You are so not alone and if anyone had asked I would have expected to be the only one on this forum with a low sex drive. I've been trying really hard (perhaps a little too hard sometimes) since we started TTC and on the one hand my hubby is thrilled by all the 'action' but he is also worried that we're just 'performing'.

What have you done to me? I never thought I'd say any of this out loud I'm going to go and hide again now ....

Your definitely not alone, I can go weeks without
OH is lovely and we are very 'cuddly' but we both work hard, he works particularly long hours and it can kill his sex drive and I'm often out late riding and teaching, so by the time I'm home, have cooked and had a bath all I want is to curl up and doze off!
I had a lot of sexual issues in a previous relationship and OH has been so understanding and gentle and generally fab (we joke that he 'fixed' me), and sometimes I feel guilty for 'pestering' him when I know he's tired.

We try to balance the need to BD at the right times with keeping it fun and light-hearted, at the end of the day it's meant to be fun!
