DH is worrying now that when he booked his Drs appt on Fri for a sperm test so we can progress fertility stuff that the Drs will ask him for a sample there and then, in the toilet, and he wont be able to "perform". Whats is anyones experience of this?

When my OH went to his doctor to arrange for a semen analysis, he was given a container and a form. He had to arrange a drop off time with the local hospital, as they only accept so many samples at a time for analysing. The sample had to be taken within 2 - 5 days of previous ejaculation. He was also told to keep the sample as close to body temperature as possible, so he put it inside his jacket pocket in the drive up the motorway, which he found slightly disturbing.

I don't think your DH will be asked for a sample there and then, unless your doctor's practice has analysis equipment on site.

Hope that helps put his mind at rest a bit.

yeah it definately will thanks, i told him i can't se many men could perform under that sort of pressure. I can't imagine the surgery having the equipment on site

That was the same for me, also tell him not to worry about the amount as my DH only produced a bit as he felt "under pressure" but it was all fine! Just me who is the abnormal one

my other half had his last week, but prior to that one he did another one,and didnt produce enough so thats why he had to go back. Even if you produce under they can still test that, it was literally here is a room go in there with some magazines and spunk in a pot. Theres alot of pressure on them,but he will feel alot better afterwards

Nothing encouraging to report. A toilette. No magazines, no encouragement and with other men queuing to get in for the same biz wax at the door. To this day I feel a pang of pride that he was more afraid of me than of performing and produced it

When me and carl went our local hospital would only accept a sample that was produced within half an hour.

He had to do it in the toilet, and he managed fine just didnt produce that much. I guess because its a little off putting having to perform on tap

thanks girlies, i can see my DH having that problem, he gets pressured around ovulation so god knows if he has to do it like that, i hope not!! we shall soon see tommorrow!!
