I know we all get down on ourselves while TTC. You know.....as a woman....it is our job. But it isn't as simple as some people make it sound. I was sitting here thinking about how hard I have been taking this. And I started thinking about my friends and how it was for them. I never though I'd be TTC. I thought It would just happen.
Maybe this isn't so good for me but my friends call me the fertility bug. Everytime I hang out with someone who is TTC,they end up pregnant within 2months.
My cousin TTC for 11 years. So I lived with her for 3 weeks. She was doing everything. I had to check her temp every morning while she was still laying in bed. She was on fertility meds. They changed their diets, took vitamins, tried every damn position they could. Then he got a job where he was away from home for 14 days at a time.A week after he got the job they decided to quit trying. two weeks after the first time he came home from off shore,She calls me boo hoo crying. I thought she was just depressed from trying so hard and needed someone to talk to. I couldn't understand what she was saying. All I could here was "I have waited so long for a baby" and I was telling her how I understood why she was hurt. I was trying to comfort her and she just kept saying "no no no" and then she was like "I can't stop crying. Can you just come over?" So I get there and she has the biggest smile on her face and she is crying. She busted out laughing and yelled "i'm having a baby!" Her daughter's name is JoyLyn Maleigh. And she is 5 years old now. I lived with her for 2 months when her daughter was 2. And now she has a son named Carl after his father.
While I was working at the adult store(Cupid's Closet) I met who is now my best friend,Ashleigh. She and her husband were TTC for 7 years. I met her in February 2006. We did fun parties together and started hanging out away from work. In 2000 she lost her son at 8 months pregnant. We never talked about babies because she was kind of bitter about it.Her and her hubby stopped TTC a few months after I met her. We did a party one night and she was saying how she felt like she was going to puke but she thought the spaghetti there smelled GREAT. I was joking and said "You might be preggo." She brushed it off and we went back outside. She said that it smelled like fish outside but not to me. It smelled like freshly cut grass. She ended up getting really sick and put in the hospital 3 weeks after the warped tour. She called and told me she was pregnant. Her daughter was born on April 4th,2007. Her name is Anelise.
This is Anelise.
