constant O pain after ovulation mean cyst?

Well, started getting my normal O pain at ovulation time and it hasnt stopped yet. According to FF I am 7 dpo but I think I o'd the day before...anyways I have had the pain in my left ovary ever since then, constant every day. Sometimes the pain shoots down my leg! (rare but it has happened) Is this indicative of a cyst? Or possibly pregnancy??

Hi,

I've had a dull ache near my left ovary since the last time I think I ovulated 5 1/2 weeks ago ! have a look at my chart, I haven't ov'd this month and AF is only days away ???? also boobs are killing me, bloated, hip and groin pain, creamy cm since last AF 4 weeks ago... all very definite BFP symptoms but no BFP, even HCG bloods at 20dpo were negative (level of 2). I'm planning my 3rd trip to doctor on Tuesday as I think I may have a cyst I hope you have better news xxx

I heard that sharp pain with bleeding while ovulating is a sign of a cyst or endometrosis but my friend just found out that she's 7 weeks prego with endo so I would suggest to make a doc appt asap they take forever to schedule a ultrasound and they can determine for you. I had tests done b4 my daughter to find out why I couldn't conceive and all test were neg and I got pregnant a month later. I think to much stress of whether or not its a medical problem may have been why it took me so long. I hope this helps and wish you the best of luck!

It will all depend on how big they are how how badly they are affecting you, most fix themselves up, just give you curry when you O, some are so large they affect fertility etc and need to be removed. Hoping it goes away asap!

Hi,

I had this last cycle too - ovulation pain for about a week which then went off and came back after my period had finished. I'm now on CD11 and it has subsided.

I went to my GP and he has referred me for a scan to check out poss. ovarian cyst.

Hopefully for you it's a sign of pregnancy and nothing else!

xx
