Question? - Symptom Tracking

Hi Ladies!

Do you track all of your symptoms every month? If you do, do you compare them month to month and does that help you keep your sanity?

I was thinking if I tracked every little thing this month and ended up with a that I could at least use it as a reference for next month ... meaning I wouldnt drive my self nuts with every little twitch, headache, cramp or dizzy spell.

So let me know if it is worth the time in the long run ... I had to laugh, I checked off 22 symptoms today ... for real ....

I have tracked every syptom for the past 15 cycles and yes every cycvle I compare it to the past - this cycle (16) I have done nothing (no opks, no temping, no cm checking etc.) just getting in lots of baby making and I hope and pray this month works

my doc said ttc can cause a woman to go mad any way and then you throw in everything else and we start to add stress to our body and that sometimes results in a bfn month after month

try to relax and may you soon be blessed with a bfp

Thanks I am opposite of you - I did 12 years of just letting whatever happens happen and it never did... now I am ready to be more proactive.

to you - I pray that we both get our BFP's soon

Yes. I am a woman obsessed. There's actually a free app for iphone called ptracker that keeps up with everything.

It only feeds my obsession.....

Jamer, I did track 'other' symptoms beyond CP, CF and temp, and I found it helped.

I noticed that I always got a sore throat the day or two before ovulation, and that I got small nabothian cysts on my cervix for a couple of days before ovulation. The month after I noticed that these were definite signs for me gearing up for ovulation and we timed accordingly, I got pregnant. So I do think it can help.

In the first 4 months of charting I ended up with loads of random things recorded, then once I worked out which were the reliably re-occurring ones for me (just the cysts and sore throat), I just tracked those. Which made for neater charts!

But I didn't track any symptoms after ovulation, as I didn't want to drive myself too mad.

Good luck!

Thanks Urbanbumpkin I got the ov symptoms down pat, i am using the clear blue easy monitor, and have pretty reliable EWCM. It is the 2WW that is driving me bonkers ... seems like every month is a mixed bag, the new stuff is really messing with my head and I just want to remember next time that it is "normal" for me.

Yeah, pretty much everything in the 2WW seems to be 'normal' in the end doesn't it? And I guess all these symptoms happen every month all the time, but until we are looking out for them we don't notice them as much.

Who knew our bodies did so much!?
