That doesn't seem very fair hun... I would keep hassling every GP in the practice until you get a referral. If the gynae wants to then refuse you then you will have to cross that bridge to but your GP should not make that decision for them ! GL hun xxx

Im overweight myself and years ago I had to pick and choose doctors. You can do it. Just takes more time and paitence.

I think it's strange that being overweight means you cannot see a gyn... What about normal paps and the like? Everyone needs those on a regular basis.

I think you should try and see another doctor. I'm really sorry that you're having trouble with this. Fx'd that you can find some help, hun!

I was just gonna say something .. yeah we can go to our GYN's without a referral from our Primary Care Physicians

it is ashame you need a referral... I WISH you the best
