More OPK questions :-/

okay so.....I had taken one day before yesterday.....barely a teeny tiny faint almost unnoticeable line.

yesterday I took one after I woke up around noon (i know your not supposed to but i did) it was a pretty dark line...like halfway.

at 7 i took another one and it was a little fainter than that, but still close to halfway.

then just now @ 2:30amish I took one and I barely have a line at all! like fainter than the very first one!

is it possible I missed o THAT FAST!!!???
is it possible it was diluted and thats what happened?
crazy....

I DTD @ around 11 so if I did o sometime in there, theres still a chance right?

what do you think...?

I find they can get lighter if pee is a bit more diluted

Mine get lighter and darker throughout the day

last AF was March 4th.
I normally have 30 day cycles but the last one was short...they've been irregular for a few months now from stress.

so between 17th -22nd you could be ovulating. Hve you only used opks on 2 days this month. could of been you ov a little earlier or it could still come its only 18th so get bedding incase, lol. I did opks last 2 days and there was only a really faint line last 2 days and yesterdays was lighter than the day before so i thought i had missed ov, or i didnt ov this month but did one today and got a pos. so just keep trying, try do opk same time each day, also try waiting a couple of hours after waking to do opk. I'm struggling with these OPK's too. I've got a slightly irregular cycle at the moment, from 28 - 32days, and I've not got a positive OPK yet, and I'm on day 19. I'm going to keep testing and see if I ever actually get one, or if I just missed it. I would keep testing for a few days if I were you, just incase you've just not ov'd yet. These tests are trickier than I first thought lol

I totally understand baby_dixon! I'm using them for the first time this cycle and they are driving me nuts! They are certainly more difficult than I thought they'd be. I started using them on cd 5 (march 5th) and have used them loyally everyday since. They were getting darker but just recently have been getting lighter. My temps don't show a shift yet...so I guess I'm still waiting for the O. cd 15 was the darkest but still neg.

my temps dont really show a significant shift, to me anyways.
This is my first month charting too so I'm still building a look of "the norm" but my chart just seems like a heart monitor to me lol

it was low, the i missed a day :/ then it went up, and today its down? idkkkkkkk

i guess if I don't get prego this month i'll get the hang of it for next time but....I really just hope i get PG so I don't have to deal with this lol soooo confusing!!!!!!!!!!

just woke up, will take an opk in a few hours & update.

well it appears as though I ovulated early and briefly?

the 16th....faint faint faint barely noticeable line.
17th....line started out strongish(like halfway) @ noon, medium(little fainter than that) @ 7, (

@ 11) and faint faint line @ 2:30 am.
today........as faint as the 1st on the 16th @ 11, gone now at 1.

hmmm?
I thought opk's would give me more timing than that?

Does that mean I'm ovulating right now? or does that mean its passed?
I'm new to OPK's so...do you get negative results once already ovulating or do they stay positive while its happening? idk...this is more confusing than I thought.

the OPKs dont tell you when you are ovulating exactly.

Once you get a positive OPK you should O 12-36 hours later. (but it is still possible to get a +ve OPK and not O at all)

and yes the test can go negative before you actually O
