Would you ask the doctor?

Hello

Just wanting a bit of advice.
I have been charting now for 5 months, all but one I've had a LP of only 9-10days, the longer one was only 12 days. Now I know 10days is on the shorter side of normal but since TTC I've noticed my period seem to be much heavier and soo painful that in my overactive mind I'm wondering whether I am concieving but my LP isn't long enough to sustain pregnancy?

I have a Dr appointment next week about something non TTC related and am just wondering whether to ask her. I'm a bit afraid I'll be laughed at and not taken seriously but its playing on my mind.

Anyone had similar or would you ask? Thanks for replying in advance!

i haven't got a similar situation, but wanted to tell you that you should definitely ask, i think it's a reasonable concern.
the doctor is not going to laugh at you!! especially if it's a woman, chances are she may be more sympathetic than a man. and she might have a good idea of what to do to lengthen your LP.

I would definitely ask! Tell her how you think the short LP is a factor in your not getting BFP and ask if there is anything they can do to lengthen it! if she laughs at you she is not a good dr!
