Coming off the Mini Pill .....

Hi Ladies,

I'm looking to find out what experiences people have coming off the mini pill to ttc.

I know that coming off the mini pill and coming off the pill are completely different.
I have come off the mini pill after longterm use, so I'm interested in finding out if what I am experiencing is "normal".

My AF for a long time was disturbed on the mini pill, but since Summer 2009 I seemed to get a regular AF, cycle of 28-30 days. (around the time I began to lose weight and lost over 4 stones).
Since stopping taking the mini pill, I got AF 2 weeks after stopping taking mini pill. Then had a 35 day cycle and a short AF, now I'm on day 42 of cycle and have had spotting on and off for just over a week but no sign of AF. (also I've done 2 PT's and both are negative).

Can anyone tell me of their experiences?

I came off mini pill six months ago after 5 years on it with regular AF every cycle!
6 months later not one sign of AF or +OPK!
Hormones definately don't do Happy for the firt few months after coming off it I don't think!

I came off the mini pill back in March 09 and my AFs have not really been affected as such. I was always led to believe that the mini pill shouldn't give such effects as if coming off the combination pill (where you have a 7 day break) and shouldn't stay in your system for too long, hence the every day dosage.

Saying that, my AFs have been slightly irregular but then again I was never clockwork before taking the pill or during so I presume that's normal for me.
