Lighter/shorter periods, Help!!

just a quick question really, for the last three cycles my period has been shorter (3 days) and lighter, do you think this anything to worry about? Is this a common thing? I have tried calling the docs to get an appointment but cant get through.
I am 30 years old, my periods have always been 5-6 days and quite heavy, noe they have become 3 days (4 max) and are really quite light.

Have you taken a test? If not i would recommend one as you may be pregnant...some women still have a light/short period each month when they are pregnant!

Hi there, nothing to worry about, I always had really heavy periods during my teens, went on the pill at 16 and came off it last Feb at age 30. Since then my periods are much lighter than they were when I was on the pill, I now have just about three days, very light and then a day of spotting. This has become normal over the last few months. But I have been checking ovulation with temps, OPK and CM and all is fine.

I have not checked this wiht the Doctor but have not seen any reason to as everything seems normal and it has just got less and less since Last feb when I came off the pill

I suppose we are just lucky! It's certainly cheaper!!! I hope this settles your mind. XX
