I just started taking my BBT this cycle. I reckon I should have ovd any time from last Thursday to tomorrow - as yet my BBT's are scarily even at 36.3. For those of you who have successfully pinpointed ov with BBT- what kind of peaks did you get and and what was the difference between the rise and normal temps?

(BTW I thought my thermometre might be only capable of giving a reading of 36.3 so I have tempd in the daytime to compare, and my temperature is lower in the middle of day- like 35.9! I am weird?)

well the way to tell if you have ovulated is your last 3 temps have to be higher then the previous 4 if that makes sence http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1f41f1 theres mu chart if u see where the red cross has been drawn the next 3temps are higher then the ones before the cross day. also a way to make sure ur themometer is working properly is to get some boiling hot water in a cup then dip ur thememometer in it only the metal bit and see if it rises to its maximum temp.....if u got any more questions ya can pm me if ya wants.....xxx good luck xxx

My last 2 temps are higher than the previous 4, but they are at the same level as when I started BBTing at CD10 - 36.3. So is that a rise or not? I will def test my thermometer- thanks for the tip!

any chance ya can do the link to ur chart wud be so much easyer....but if its how i think it is then if tomo u get another temp higher ff should put a cross on ya chart to say u have ovd but without lookin its hard to tell for sure xx

yer looking at it going by ur temps on there atm i would say u ovd cd16 and the fact u have a pos opk is another good sign too what you could do to see ff picks it up is be sneaky and enter a temp in for tomo put 36.4 and see if draws a coverline and then jus erase it when u finished playin round.....and then if it does u no all u need tomo is another high temp and then u defo ovd...try that see what happens xxx
