I'm Currently Feeling: | Do we ... Cause ourselves unnecessary problems TTC with the stress and anxiety we put ourselves under.
I was talking to the acupuncturist today and she was saying how stress and anxiety cause massive issues with women's cycles and reproductive health.
Ok we know excess weight loss can cause cycles to stop and be uneven but interestingly so can stress, anxiety and worry. As well as unbalanced diet, excess exercise and excess vitamins.
So, tonight's topic for discussion ..... are we actually delaying and interrupting the process with our desperation for the oracle .... a
Is this why it seems people who 'aren't trying' seem to get the so easily? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think you're right Farie, if you get too obsessed and worried about it then it probably won't happen. I'm (trying to be!) as relaxed as possible and then gutted when AF arrives. Definitely not abandoning BB any time soon though, I'm learning way too much here and I find the support of you guys definitely helps |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have been mulling this over this week. My midwife told me that the stress of losing Beau could affect our chance of getting a bfp. However, I am on a forum for people who have lost their baby's at a late stage of pregnancy and a lot of those who have ttc'd straight after have got a bfp quite shortly afterwards.
So, this is the straw of hope I'm clinging to right now! It is so stressful losing a baby and I know people who can concieve even in the most extreme stress and I hope I'll be the same.
We can do it!
Now.... who's for a bit of relaxing meditation |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think it affects both parties - I am sure my dh is more stressed than me about ttc after miscarrying. He seems to try to avoid bd-ing at the right time or finds it more difficult to finish - if that makes sense |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I feel the stress of ttc is certainly adding to it! when all that worry is on your mind all the time-how will it work?

I'm Currently Feeling: | I got pg with my first when we had stopped thinking about it cos we were too busy with other things (ttc for 8 months, stopped stressing, fell pg 2 mnths later). I think stress can definitely affect you, but just because you are stressed it doesn't automatically mean you won't conceive! We all know that stress can affect AF, and so there must be a knock-on effect x
Oh, and just for the record - although I'm ttc again I'm not at all stressed out by it. I have one child and that's all I'm blessed with that's fine by me! Despite the lack of stress (but I admit, there is a huge amount of desire, of course!) we have been ttc for 8 months (again!) with no result as yet, so not being stressed hasn't made me more fertile!!! (Sorry for rambling!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | ^ true.
I believe that stress does cause problems. Our minds control our bodies more than we all think. I am guilty of course, but this cycle, I have been pretty relaxed...as each day passes, I know I am getting just one step closer!!
We will get there ladies!!! !!! |
