ovulating, pain on left side, worse during intercourse

has anyone experienced this?

I have it every month, except mine is on the right side. And it hurts horribly during intercourse. It is called mittleschmerz, you can google it. My friend had it too, and she is now 10 weeks pregnant. So, at least it helps us to know when we are ovulating

I get horrible ov pains some months, but it doesn't hurt more during intercourse. Maybe your OH is going in too deep, he shouldn't be knocking things around in there.

I usually have ov pains but sometimes they are pretty bad and this month it did hurt particularly during the BD but I think it was the position I was in. I just wouldn't do the position you were in while you have ov pains?

I have pains too, could be either side. Sometimes it hurts after intercourse. During intercourse it doesn't hurt, but sometimes I can feel the pain coming on... When I do get the pain afterintercourse, it helps if i take a hot bath/soak. I asked my doctor about this and she said it could be related to me having an intense orgasm.

But I know sometimes I get the pain even when I don't have a great O. I've had cT scans and MRI done and nothing I has happened. I recently found out about mittelschmerzs and I have self-diagnosed myself as having this. After I found out about mittelschmerz, I asked my dr about it and she said it may be what I have. Now, I'm going to try to track the pain to see if it occurs when I ovulate.

Thanks girls, i guessed it was something to do with that, i think my right ovary may do the work most of the time and this month its my left. i hope it doesnt continue as it put my dh right off cos he could tell i wasnt enjoying it so probably no bfp this month.
