Ovulation Trip Advice Needed

I was just browsing Ryanair and realized we could just as well hit the UK or Ireland and then it occurred to me how many of you ladies are over there so I thought I'd ask. Anyone living in/knows of a near-Ryanair airport location that's a pretty medieval like village with a B&B, hotel or castle that's affordable and has a huge bed? Thanks in advance

chester is pretty medieval i think - but York is lovely! you could fly to manchester or leeds (leeds probably better) and then York is probably about 1 hours drive. There are loads of places down south (i am a manchester girl!) that are probably nicer - don't tell anyone from up here i said that!!!!

Edinburgh is great for food, drink, castle, and shopping! I love it. I also live near Chester which is nice. I used to live in Stratford upon Avon which is lovely - you can have a meal on a barge on th river - fly into Birmingham or coventry.xx

cambridge also is lovely - v romantic with the canal and stuff.
I agree with tansey though that edinburgh is v nice. I love it up there. there are lots of castles that have been turned into hotels in Scotland which are amazing. I stayed in one near Glasgow which was incredible!! i will find out name for you and let you know.
