I'm Currently Feeling: | What should I ask the doctor to test for? I'm going doctors on the 30th, but have no idea what to ask for!!!
I've been totally fobbed off in the past as we have a child together already. To me, all that proves is that we could conceive in December 2005, nothing to do with anything now.
I had a standard blood test 7 months ago when I went last time and all was clear.
So what else do I want him to test for????
Help! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think if it were me i would say you have been trying for x amount of time - have you been using ovulation kits so you know that you have been ovulating??
Just say that it's not happening and you are doing everything right. If they refuse to run any further tests then i would ask for a second opinion.
How long have you been TTC no. 2 for? Surely they should be able to run tests on both you and your OH just to make sure everything is okay? |

Surely they should be able to run tests on both you and your OH just to make sure everything is okay? | I don't need to use OPK's Rachelle as I can pinpoint O to within a couple of hours. I get a distinct O pain and I can tell which side it is every month and on what day. I've used them in the past and get 2 lines at the same time, so I know thats what it is.
We've been trying for 19 months now. Oh, and it's actually number 3 for me, number 2 for DH though. I've got a 15 year old from my first marriage.
So, I know I'm ovulating. Does that mean that DH will need testing?? I'm not sure I could get him to the doctors. Is there anything else they can test me for apart of whether I O or not?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | They can test for Endo and PCOS. Although have your thyroid checked as it can play havoc. Also just in case, they can do scans to check for blocked tubes. There's a number of things. Make sure you don't let him play it down, let him know you're serious!
Good luck sweetie |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks NeyNey. I actually feel quite positive about my appointment. It feels like the start of something. Like I'm doing something about the problems. Hopefully there is no problem, but if there is, I know I can deal with it. It's the not knowing thats the killer. |
