Angry

Evaporation Lines

Ladies.

What is your opinion on Evap lines. do they come up straight away?

are they visible from arms length?

have any of you had lots of evaps on the internet cheapies. ? (i bought mine from fertility plan - they claim to be sensitive to 10uil)

I keep getting faint lines, that can be seen at arms length, that do come up within the time frame.

BUT they are not getting any darker each time i test - so i cant be PG!!

i think they are all evaps - but just very bloody good ones!!

anyone got there own views on this...... or had the same experience as me.

i have read somewhere that if the line is teh same colour as the test (ie either pink or blue) then it isnt an evap! harder to tell with blue ones - as the evap lines are usually greyish, like a shadow line (apparently).
it is so confusing hun. Hope you get a BFP really soon.

Yeah i have got a CB digi - but ive kind of decided, if the internet cheapie is only picking up a faint line (and they are supposed to be more sensitive than CB at 10uil) clearblue is apparently only 50uil - then i would be wasting my digi??...

but its so annoying. OH asked me to test again last night (i had kind of vowed not to do anymore) cos he wants to see a BFP too

but yes - straight away, theres the little line, seeable, but faint. came up straight away. so i test with FMU today - faint line. not as dark as last nights even. surely if anything, with FMU it would be darker if i was PG

someone tell me they are evaps - someone pls tell me the same happened to them with internet cheapies. its making me crazy!

The cheapies are not as sensitive as they make out, I was getting what looked like evaps for ages, then I did one the day before AF was due and it was more pink, Then I did a digi and it was pos.
Have you got a pic of your test

If it's a faint line coming up immediately then I would take that as a good sign. If you get nothing then come back an hour later and there is a line, I would take that as the evap.

But invest in a couple of digi ones, for when you are pretty much sure you ahve a line, then test with it and hopefully it should concur!

hey nicola, I was using these tests from that place also, and this happened to me last month. Its weird cos I got like 5 in a row and they were all just as thick as the control line and I thought for sure I was pg, but I wasnt. It was the tests playing tricks on me!! I think, although it is weird that I used them for months and never got this before, but mine were evaps I am sure. Very convincing ones tho- although this month I am deffo late, but I wont hold my breath!! I dont think I will be buying these tests again as I really dont think they r as sensitive as they make out. But you never know, u could be testing too early and u are pg, I would suggest if you are late, buy a better test, I have lost faith in these ones. Candice xx
