Evap lines on First Response??

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking at this on the internet and can't find that much information on this, I seem to remember reading that some HPT's are worse than others for evap lines.

In a nutshell, ive just done a test, im not sure how many dpo I am as didn't bother monitoring this month. Possibly 8 or 9 days. Anywho Ive had a very faint line come up and although it is definitely visible i'm not convinced its not an evap line as it is so faint! It came up within a couple of minutes so im not sure why im not getting excited, perhaps as I had a lot to drink at the weekend! (in my defence we didn't bd around the time I thought I would be ovulating, so genuinely didn't think for a second I would be!!)

Has anyone else heard of evaporation lines being common on First Response?

Thanks

xxxxxxxxx

I had a white line come up where the test line should be, I soon got told it was just to show you where the line should be -ops new to all this. Anyway so I was told any coloured line is a positive sign! and evaps on FRER are meant to be rare (i think?!)

Lots of luck didnt want to read and run.x

evaps are usually grey with no color at all so if its a faint pink line good chance its a bfp

As above - evaps don't really have any colour and FRER's aren't really known for evaps..... As far as I know, evaps are more common on blue dye tests.

Have you got any pics?

Good Luck hun xxxxx

Well the line is definitely pink and Ive shown a couple of people who can definitely see it there!! Ive tried to take pics but my phone is rubbish and you cant see anything. I have literally prayed for this moment for so long and now it has happened im not at all excited. I'm nervous as hell and I get more and more worried with every twinge! I'm really scared that I'm going to do a test in the morning and there will be no line there!!

I agree, evaps are rare on frers, but you can get dogey tests in every brand. If shes pretty and pink and came up in a couple of minutes, all be it feint, I would say congrats! It early so you would expect it to be feint!
