Since we started TTC.....

I have put on 12 bloody pounds!!!! OMG

They say that you let yourself go after marriage - he he he

I seem to cope with the stress by eating... so 2 weeks out of the month i'm a chocoholic queen and just want to hide under my duvet. This is no good! I must snap out of it!

Please tell me i'm not alone??

Start my secondment next month so it'll be more relaxing, working in a nicer area and THEORETICALLY i will be able to go for a run in my lunch hour..... theoretically!!

It wasn't ttc for me but getting married - I put on over a stone in the first year of marriage! it's taken a while to get it all back off but I'm there now!

I also heard today that if you consume less than 1800 calories a day, you're more likely to have a girl. Seeing as we'd love a girl, that's a good incentive to eat healthily!!!

The downside is that my butt is developing it's own postcode... jeez!!!!!!

I spent the day walking around London today on a teambuilding day - 'historic pubs of london'.... that is the most exercise i've had in a while!!!

Since when have the police done teambuilding days?!?! I'll have to tell hubby, he'll never believe it! I like the idea of a pub tour as teambuilding though. Where's your secondment taking you?

Hehehe ...

I have put on at least a stone in the last 6 months, I'm trying really hard to loose it but I do 2 weeks of exercise, then O (which brings exercise of its own kind ) then 2 weeks to scared to do more than a gentle stroll for fear of 'dislodging' something

Lu - weight loss suggestions please

God nothing drastic. Less dinners out and takeaways takes care of a good bit. Going to the gym, if poss 3 times a week but I don't always manage it! I don't worry about exercise during ov, I figure if women can do physical jobs during pregnancy then a little legs bums and tums won't hurt!!

Definitely no actual diets though! Just eating a bit more sensibly....

My weight fluctuates...but I DO eat a ton when I am stressed and when I am bored. So I eat a lot at work, while sitting on my butt! I was taking the stairs to the 6th floor twice a day, then once a day and now not at all. I suck. I was forced to take them today however, since our elevators were broken. Us office people are sooooooo out of shape! So NO you are not alone!!!! Maybe try and get your DH to go for walks with you when possible. IT is always nice to have someone to work-out with and be a support. My DH and I hike and workout, climb, and used to run together. Aww isn't TTC just the best!
