TTC and general anasthetic!?!?


hi ladies,

im new here, we r currently TTC baby no 3 (have 2 DDs Skye 3 and Tayah 1) but im due to have an op on my wrist under General Anasthectic on 17th March...i OVed 3 days ago (going by FF and OPKs) was just wondering what u think i should do? my LP is usally 17 days so i will only be 13 DPO when i have my op....im abit worried about the affect of the GA on a possible BFP.......any advice?!?!

You will have to let doc know and they can do some bloods before the op to see if in fact you are pregnant of not and go from there. They will weight up the risks involved and explain them all, normally its not recommended if the op isnt necessary and can be performed at a later date.
