Hi ooh im so happy to have found someone who is at exactly the same place i am! I started off on microgynon too but went to yasmin as i was havin migranes. (Actually since ive came off the pill ive had a migrane every single day since! Theyve been getting a little better but at first they were so bad i couldnt sleep!)

Hey there, I'm new to the site too. I stopped the pill this past November and was on it for 15 years. My periods have been really irregular and long! I went from a 28 day cycle to a 38 day cycle. I had my period last month for 19 days, the month before that was 14 days. Right now, I am on day 11 of my period. When I don't have my period, I just test everyday with the ovulation tests. I also have a host of medical issues, which make me think conceiving is gonna be difficult. We have been ttc since nov with no luck. I have learned patience is a virtue!! Especially when you are testing all the time!! Good luck!!!

Hi and welcome! Im sorry to hear your periods have been so awful, the longest ive had was about 8 days and im dreading them being longer, 19 days sounds awful hun.

out of interest what have been the results of the OV tests?

I am

I was on Yasmin for about 4 years and then switched to the generic for about a year or so. I stopped taking it on Oct 31st (starting November on a clean slate). My period was regular November, December and January. February was our first month trying to conceive and as of right now I'm about 16 days late. I've tested 9 times now and all I'm getting are BFNs. I have drs appt next Thursday to see if they can do a blood test.

hey! i was on bcp whew about 14 years before I concieved DS....It didn't take long for me to fall pregnant with him...and this time around I just got off in February(was only on 3 months), I got pos OPK today and yesterday and some ewcm , so I am oving! But everyone is different, I am usually a fertile myrtle, but we sha'll see when march 23rd rolls around if AF shows! Lots of

I was on the pill for nearly 6 years and the last pill i was on was YASMIN which i was on for about 3 or 4 years!

I took my last pill pack and had a withdrawl bleed on the 22nd Feb til 26th Feb then didnt start the new pack i would have started on the 26th Feb. Then started trying on the saturday (27th) had a little more bleeding that day (probs cos of not startin new pack) then had nothing since then. So does this mean im on day 13 of my cycle now? Going off the first day of the withdrawl bleed i had? I am so confused!! I know i maybe should have waited until i had a proper cycle before trying but i keep hearing that some women are more fertile when coming off the pill and didnt wanna miss the opportunity! Also i have no idea when i ovulate but going off a 28day cylce it should be tommorow shouldnt it? or within the next week if my cylce happens to be longer? Sorry again about all the questions im just so confused!

Hi There,

I came off Yasmin last September and had a withdrawal bleed and then one period about 32 days later. I used ov sticks for 7 days starting cd13 and had my positive on day 16, we bd on day 14,16,17,18 and got my BFP cd 30.

Sadly my pregnancy ended in missed mc at 12 weeks but we are now all clear and started ttc last week and hope we lucky fall quickly again.

I have had positive OV results every month. So, hopefully, it will happen soon! Good luck to you, too!!!
