ClearBlue Digital - Not Preg, but feel sick!

Hiya

I'm so confused right now, but pleased I found this site!!

History: I came off the pill (Yasmin) in the last week of Nov 09.

My LMP was 5th Feb 2010 - been TTC since 13th Feb (wedding day!!) - most fertile days (15th - 19th).

Period due yesterday (5th March) - my last was 3 days over but was not TTC, did a CB Digi this morning 6th March, it said 'Not Pregnant'.

Here's ONE confusion, I've been feeling nauseas for the last 9 days every morning and at the mere sniff of certain foods, and smoke! Each day it feels a little worse, I intermittently spotted light brown/pinkish on the Mon 10DPO (1st)/Tue (2nd)/Wed (3rd) - then nothing, had an extremely small streak of brown mixed with thick mucus on Fri (5th) and today again nothing.

I ripped open the digital test (as you do!!) - and saw the two sticks inside - there was a light blue line next to the control line, and a really very faint line on the 2 stick.

I checked out the w w w.clearblue. com/uk/HCP/pdf/CI_monograph.pdf here - and it would appear if your really negative then NOTHING should show up.

And now TWO confusion, looking at the test in my hand, and the diagram on the PDF - I noticed that they said the lower hcg test had the control band - the test in my hand was reversed - the higher had the control band and the lower didn't.

I figured that out from the distance of the little black raised bits that hold it in place.

Can I still be pregnant?

Thanks

xx

Thanks for the replies

I've been scouring the internet like a loon, wondering if I was going nuts!

I will test again in a few days, and pick up a FRER from Asda this afternoon.

Will post whatever the result is!

xx

Hi Miss_B, i think the clearbluedigital is not as sensitive as some of the other tests. If you have missed your period you should be able to test with the FRER if you get one today! Good luck X
