Hi Gals! This is my first (full) cycle that I'm charting. I'm on cd5 and still spotting from menses, but I'm just wondering what position your cervix is usually in at the beginning of a cycle.
I didn't check cp during menses this cycle (obviously...it's just too messy!). But I checked it yesterday and today since I'm only spotting now. Turns out it's really high and soft and open!
I couldn't hardly reach it today, so I'm not sure if it's still open, but it is high and soft. I didn't take note of my cervical fluid yesterday. And today it was REALLY super stretchy and thin like eggwhites! (but it was brownish with red streaks as I'm spotting still), but DH and I DTD last night so it may have been spermies. I did the water test, but it just kinda floated and hung down into the water and kinda dissipated a little when I stirred it a little (so I guess it was sperm?). I haven't done any OPTs yet as I was going to wait until cd 8 or cd 10.
So, my question is, is this normal during menstruation? Is there any chance I'm ovulating this early? I read online that during and after menses it's usually low and firm. And some charts in the chart gallery on FF show ovulation this early. So could that be happening with me?
I'm taking agnus castus to help regulate my long cycles but I don't think that has any affect on cp, but could it make me ovulate early?
Sorry for all my crazy questions!
