Using OPK - No sign of O, never happened before, any ideas why ladies??

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with later than usual ovulation??

I am usually a 28/29 day cycle. I have been using OPKs for the past 3 month. I do not chart. I have had no problems using the OPK in the past and they show that I O on days 13, 14 and 15.

I am currently on day 16 and nothing!!! I have been testing since day 6.

I know I am only slightly late, but its a bit worrying that I have not got a positive when the other months I have?!

Can anyone shed any light on this please???

Also (i'm not sure if this is going to make any difference).... This cycle I have been using the CB digital O testers.. They are showing a negative, however when you take the tester stick out there is a faint 2nd line... this has happened for the past 2 days.... just wondering if this is usually there and I have not noticed, or is the line showing me that O is on the way??!

I would really appreciate any advice?!?!

Didnt want to read and run but Ovulation days/times can vary. Just keep

and it should happen within the next week. If not I'd seek your obgyn. Sorry it wasn't much help.

I usually ovulate day 18 hun, last month it was 20 and this month 23, I'd given up on ovulation too thinking it was anovulatory cycle and stopped bd'ing as I was ill as well so probably missed our chance. I only knew because I temp and had a big rise. Also its possible you missed your surge if it was short and you only test once a day??!

Keep at it hun, its not anovulatory until Af arrives without it! x

I only test once a day... mainly because they say you can't use your first wee of the day and secondly I am at work during the day and don't fancy weeing in a pot at work LOL!!!

I will buy some more OPKs and keep testing. It just seems strange that in the past I have had 3 positive O days each month... on the same days... and this time nothing
