Feeling low - just want to say it out loud to someone

Hi everyone,

Hae been TTC for about two years now. Have 4 mc of differing sorts - two where we've seen the hb and then everything has stopped.

Have a good consultant who seems to be on top of things. As it is evident we can get pregnant, he suggested just keeping going and then we have a plan of action if I get a positive pregnancy test. He has said if nothing happens by the summer, then we try IVF.

I just can't help feeling this will never happen for us. I'm nearly 39 and time is definitely not on our side. I'm starting to hate each month and the different stages. Have tried OPKs and have just bought a CBFM but nothing seesm to make any difference and then when we do fall it never works out anyway. Friends and colleagues fall pregnant at the drop of a hat and my job is just so demanding I'm exhusted most of the time.

I'm low and withdrawing from being sociable with friends and family and its affecting our relationship.

Is it all worth it?

Sorry to read about your difficult journey. It's good that your consultant is there for you. Hopefully you will get pregnant without help and that they hang on in there. If not IVF may be the way forward and hopefully you can get there in the end.

Hope this helps a bit.
x

It's awful isnt it. We are just about to reach the 12 month point and I am finding it hard too. Everyone I speak to seems to tell me they are pregnant or know someone who is pregnant! Like you say at least you know it is possible for you to actually become pregnant. It WILL be worth it in the end - keep telling yoursef that. Try and keep positive although after 2 years I am sure this is easier said than done. I really dont know what else to say. Baby dust to you x x x x x

Thank you. It just gets you down after a while and nothing seems to change. I can't even be bothered to use OPKs this month - I think I'm due to ovulate about now but can't seems to summon up the interest.

Thank you for your post - I hope everything goes well for you. I'm sure you'll get your BFP soon. FX'd for you

Hi

Im 39 years old. I KNOW how you feel. People my age and older fall pregnant whenever they plan on it. I wonder if im ever going to get pregnant .
I watch those baby shows on tv from time to time, and what I wouldnt give to be in their shoes.

Lets stay positive

Testing?

First of all, all of my deepest thoughts and prayers are being sent, your way! I am so, so sorry for all of your losses...but may I ask, what type of testing, if any you have had done? I am curious because I had (3) miscarriages, that usually took place during the first 8 weeks, due to a uterine septum...it was discovered by a balloon being inserted into my uterus and x-rays being taken, which was a fairly painless procedure and definitely worth it! I pray you will get pregnant soon and have a happy and healthy 9 months!

God bless you!
TAMARA
