put in my temp today, and it thinks I ovulated 3 days ago.

No idea what this means.

i'm pretty positive that I ovulated between the 3rd and 5th of April (thats when I had the most cm, ew and watery) and when my temp spiked

So according to FF i am 3dpo today, and with absolutely no chance of conception.

should i over-ride it, or trust it? am i out?

Over-ride it .. its your body and you were the one looking at the EWCM near the beginning of the month.
