Me too, Hays, me too. Started spotting a teensy bit last night and noticed a bit just now too. I know it's the witch. When will it ever end? When will we get over to the 1st trimester board? I'm gonna go see my dr this week about it cos something's gotta be wrong if most people I know fall PG in 3 months and I don't - and yet I'm the one who knows more about it all than any of them. Am gonna tell him we've been trying for a year, even though we've been trying for less than this. I just can't keep seeing the witch each month, she's too damn ugly! x

Oh poo! Think I'll be behind you shortly and can't wait until this cycle is over. It seems as eternity to wait and then to have AF show up just tops things altogether. Sorry it's not your turn this time and good luck at the Gynae.

do it seriously you'll feel better for telling them and make sure they dont try and fob u off!!! how long have you been ttc?? you could say you came off the pill before 4months before ttc,and didnt use anything, and then offically started ttc after. I know you shouldnt lie but thats the only way for them to listen.
xx

We've been trying for 6 months now. It wasn't until this year that we 'properly' got into it, BDing around OV time. But still, 6 months without protection and not pregnant yet? COME ON!!!! It might not seem long to some but sorry, how on earth do you explain all the gals I know who fall PG within 3 months and then they were only half heartedly trying? I've been putting 110% into it and still nothing, zilch, nada. To me, that's a sign that something might be wrong. I imagine I have too short a luteal stage so I reckon the dr will get me to have a 'day 21 test' to see if I have built up enough progesterone. In a way, I hope it's me and not the OH who has problems as men take it too much to heart. x

Hey Trixie, It is true though that some people just take longer than others and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I was worrying a month or two ago and was sure there must be something wrong with me. A wise friend sat me down and as she pointed out - i have had no indication whatsoever that anything is wrong - no missed periods, fairly regular cycle, no really bad pain etc. I know it seems really unfair that others just seem to fall pg so easily, but when we do get our little bundles eventually, at least we will know they were DEFINITELY wanted!! I was reading your blog earlier anyway and it seems to have given you some inspiration for material! I like the way you write - v funny - do you write for a living?

Yes, you have a point my dear, I've never had any 'problem' periods and am reasonably regular so nothing to suggest anything's majorly wrong. Maybe I'm just a drama queen?! Thanks for your kind words about my blog, I do write for a living and one day, I will write a novel and be rich and famous and buy a cottage in the country, surrounded by babies and dogs
