My whole world came crashing down today

I really thought this would be our month, but AF came right on schedule. DH deploys to Iraq in about 3 weeks now and this is our absolute LAST chance to get pregnant before he's gone for a year. To make things worse, if/when AF shows up next month, he will be long gone and I will have to go through that alone. I can't even bear to think of that right now with how much I am already crying. I really can't do this, it's too upsetting and I know the odds are against us so I have given up all hope

I decided I'm going to pull out all the stops this month and chart as well. We are on vacation right now and won't get back until Monday (cd5). Is that too late to begin temping or when am I supposed to start? Also, am I supposed to do this orally or vaginally?

I think it would be ok to start on cd5, i expect one of the more experienced charting ladies will be able to help. You can do it either orally or vaginally, although vaginally is meant to be more accurate so i believe?

Thanks for the info, I'm going to check back with them on cd5 and get any tips they can give me, anything to give myself a fighting chance at conceiving this month.

Right on a positive note, we are going to get you that bfp this month.

Yes Im sure if you start temping now it wouldnt hurt, and yes vaginally is best and more accurate. You will need a bbt to get it really bob on, I would also pull out the stops with the opks, how about trying one or even 2 if you can every day until you get the surge, I know it would be costly but may work.
Also soft cups seem to get a good ratio of bfp's.

Try Preseed hun, I swore by it, I really did. I got a bfp each time i used it. I gave the rest of the pack to my friend and she got a bfp first try.
