Ho do I calculate my dates after a miscarriage?

I would like some help with this please girls!

I started trying for another baby as soon as the bleeding stopped after the miscarriage but I am having problems working out my dates.

Should the first day of my cycle be the date of my miscarriage or, when I stopped bleeding?

I had my miscarriage on 25th March and I stopped bleeding on 3rd April.

Any help would be appreciated as I want to test as soon as I can!

Thanks girls!

What I was told is that you should count the first day of your cycle as the day you miscarried. That is what I did. This is technically my first real cycle after my miscarriage. Good luck! I hope you get your soon! Sending you bunches of

Hi Dona,

Just wanted to agree with jonnanne. I too took the d&c date as the first day of my cycle and had af about 3-4 days later than normal.

Good luck testing!! xxx

Hiya

Oh i'm glad you asked this question as I was wondering the same thing. I had a missed miscarriage on 23rd March and stopped bleeding about two weeks later and have been bding since! Im on my 29th day today and I am normally 27 days on my cycle but I have been feeling really rotten all weekend, nauseous all weekend, light headed, achy boobs and runny nose!!!

I did a test with FMU this morning but was negative, so I'm just going to leave it now and see what happens - its just so annoying not knowing when AF will arrive as I am allways either 27 or 28 days!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Oh heres to hoping we get our 's soon )

Tell me about it, missus... Annoying is the word. I have now had my first af, but i counted a rather shorter luteal phase than i normally have last month- so effectively i have no idea when af will come.. sometime between tuesday 22nd or 29th..great fun, eh?
