positive opk... when?

I '' ovulated'' I think 4 days ago, although ticker says otherwise. I tested with opk which showed positive on cd 19, then the following day on cd 20 the test was negative, does that mean I ovulated on day 19?
xx

i would say so...opk's only show you a window of ov..so unless you take several tests every day..its rather difficult to pinpoint whether you caught the ov surge at the beginning, peak or the tale end of it.

If i was you i'd stick with 19th..its easier that way, no?

Good luck in your 2ww, bunny! xxx

I got a positive opk on CD 14 BUT got both negatives on CD 13 and CD 15. You must have caught the surge at a good time I would say the day of or after your second surge would be your O time... Lots of for you!!

I think the OPK shows you that you would Ov on your CD 20-21 (but possibly 19). You can't tell when you actually ovd unless you are charting your BBT (Basal Body Temperature) which wil rise after Ovulation. You need to read the blurb in the test packets that you're using to see exactly how they work because they aren't all the same. But bear in mind OPK means Ovulation Predicton Kit - it warns you that it's going to happen soon, but not exactly when! Most OPKs tell you that you will Ov in 12 - 36 hours after a pos.

As Magic already said, there is no pin point of Ovulation unless you chart your Temp too, because that rise in temp is what indicates ovulation.

but I think your estimate is about correct

Good luck
