Bored and impatient!!

Just wanted to say, I hated being in the TWW last time and found it really tough but now I'm getting quite envious of those who are in it. (I guess the grass is always greener on the other side!!)

I'm waiting to ovulate, haven't had any signs its coming yet and as my cycles have been all over the place have no idea when it's coming. It could be any day now or it could be a couple of weeks! I'm on cycle day 15.

I'm due to go for a blood test when I'm 7DPO (I've been trying for 6 months and doctor wants to get things moving) so I think that's making me more impatient!!

Hurry up little egg. I'm waiting for you!!

I actually quite like this part of the waiting. It's filled with hope and if you have Oed before on your own you can bet on little disappointment. It feels like you're doing something towards conceiving, all those OPKs or CBFMs and then the BDathlons. Once it's done it's nothing but waiting and biting nails.

I am in the exact same boat! I have been getting blood work done to test my cycle and see if I am Oing. I used opks this cycle and low and behold, I got a positive on CD 14 (which is Oing average for 28 CD). THIS NEVER HAPPENS! I couldn't BD that day as I was out of town but BD'd on CDs 15 and 16. My temps have slowly gone up and FF just put a crosshair for me Oing on CD 15. I have to get bloodwork again in a few days to test my progesterone levels. There still is a chance that I could not be Oing...(lord I hope not!). I would think that if I tested negative with the opks the day after and before the positive, then I should be.

I am happy that you are getting the ball rolling to see what needs to be done for your ttc journey. My gyn is wonderful and very optimistic. She told me that if I am not preg this month, that DH needs to get a SA...You'll get there! I feel so much better about ttc after having the support of my gyn guiding me along the way...hope you feel the same way LOTS of for you!!!

I'm bored too! I hate this bit, you can't entertain the possibility of being pg and you can't to anything proactive about getting there either - roll on next for bding time!

Hayz, how did you manage to convince your doctor to do blood tests after only 6 months? I'm on 6 months now and my doctor said she'd do some bloods "in a few months" if I really wanted to but that we were well inside the average timescale...

That's what my Dr said too ... said that perhaps after 9-12 months they would consider testing

Grrrr doctors! I know they're probably right and we shouldn't be assuming there's something wrong too early but still!
