i agree with tishimouse...i know it sounds awful but in a way id find it difficult to send a card! you tried to contact her a couple of times...the only thing i can think of is that the pregnancy was unplanne and she was habing a difficult time coming to terms with it round about the time you tried to get in touch an she idnt want to tell anyone yet or she didnt want to break down to friends. Actually maybe i would send a card to be the bigger person that way you wont seem bitter or jealous but at the same time your life is too fantastic and busy to go to the shower! Sorry im going off on one but people like this do my head in...ive a couple of these in my life and they are usually all about 'the show'.
