Oh honey, don't feel lonely, we are all here for you and I think most of us will hold our hands up to feeling lonely/feeling like we go on and on and on and on about TTC to our partners and generally feel like things just aren't working out like we planned

At the moment I'm sat in bed, browsing the forum, with my cat curled up on the pillow feeling pants as I'm sure AF is about to arrive any minute (sorry TMI!! )

TTC is much harder/more stressful/emotional than I ever imagined and I'm sure other people will agree

Hey

Its hard to know whats best...

When i was ttc before a few years ago i did tell everyone, we tried for 7 months and nothing, every month was the same and people kept asking are you? lots of friends seem to just catch the egg the first month and thats so hard but what can we do....nothing really other than keep trying.

I would just say try not to cut everything out of your life coz your ttc, otherwise it makes it more stressful and will take longer, go out with friends to take your mind off it, have a drink when you want to, you dont have to go mad but doing these things will help you relax and have some fun while ttc

i have no idea why some people, especially when they dont want kids fall pg all the time and then we are all here waiting but thats life and hopefully it will all be worth it!!

Oh Carolina, I'm sorry you're feeling a bit low. I havent told anyone except my best friend I'm trying and this site is great for keeping alot of the crazy away from my hubby!

Honestly, I think I would have gone slightly mad in the last month if it wasn't for B&B, you're surrounded by people who know exactly what you're going through. Hang in there and feel free to pm me

There are friends and there are "friends". I wish I didn't tell everyone we were ttc, after that I just had to admit to 2 m/c. Since then it has been 11 months and sometimes you get this real awes: Still nothing?!?! I feel even under more stress now, because it feels like I'm the only one who isn't capable of something so natural, something which came so easy to everyone else around me. (

ttc has really taken it toll on me, i dont know what to do
I am having a 'dark day' as well Carolina as the witch turned up in full force this morning. I have been TTC for two years now and whilst at the beginning I hated myself for letting the sadness own me and really worked myself up that I was getting depressed when I always think of myself as a positive person. But recently I haver reconciled myself to the fact that it is just hormones and I am ALLOWED to have a day to wallow and cry and feel really sorry for myself. because I know I will wake up tomorrow morning and feel better, and that I will update my diary for my new cycle dates and get excited about when we will BD and when my new due date would be. I would love to not get this upset - but if I hate myself for it it only makes things worse. My OH always tells me to get a grip and that I have to stay positive - but i have decided that for one day a month I will be true to my feelings and feel down in the dumps if I want to. I promise that this is a combination of hormones and extreme disappointment - but that tomororw you will feel better - the hope will come back.
You are most definitely not alone - everyone on here is there for you and fully understands what you are going through.
Lots and lots and lots of
As for me - I'm off to have a bloomin good sob in the office toilets - and I will not feel guilty about it!!

thanks beckic thats a really good way to look at it! Some months i just get very emotional compared to others. I never used to get pms so its a shock to my system! Yeah i think a good cry is probably good for our bodies!!

Farie...do you not worry about if the landlord had to some round for some reason? Thats one thing that stops us! Ive had loads of hamsters but had to get the last one put to sleep a couple of months ago which was very upsetting but they all lived past the usual life span! We have leather sofas (which i hate) and think a cat would scratch and ruin them (and there the landlords)! Do your pets not do that? If there was a way around that we would def have a cat!

I think cats are great for tlc and depression!
