Persona monitor :P

Alright team ttc!!!

So after my trip to the docs due to a missed period (Which i got the day after going btw as soon as i relaxed) the doctor advised me to buy a persona monitor to tell me when i was ovulating.

So because my cycles are still a little whacky im a bit dubious i know that they are used to prevent you from getting pregnant but seen as i am using it to try and get pregnant i dont think its that bad that my cycles are a bit crazy after all i just want it to tell me the days im ovulating do you think i will get accurate results or am i at a loose end the monitor came today and im so excited just dont want innacurate results

Any help would be great

I've never heard of a Persona monitor! But I'm off to Google to find out more about it! I was just looking at the Clear Blue Easy fertility monitor, but it's so expensive!

Interesting. Here is what I found out about Persona vs. CB's fertility monitor:

Bottom line: Persona is a birth control method. Clearblue is a fertility monitor. They should not be used interchangeably.

well it can be used the same as clearblue monitor as it tells you when you ovulate persona is used to stop you from falling pregnant as it tells you your fertile days the doctor actually recommended it as its a cheaper option :P

I found several posts from the past on B&B, and it does look like several people have used it for TTC. Now I'm off to see how much it costs! Thanks for mentioning this Persona monitor!

I use my persona for ttc and it does tell me when im ovulating and when my high days are. I found it much easier than using opks or temping.
