Hi Girls, Just thought I'd update you. Still only showing a faint line on hpts but it's now been over 6 weeks since the d&c so I doubt it's from my last pregnancy. I'm now slightly freaked out that I may be about to miscarry again or am having an ectopic pregnancy as the hcg levels don't appear to be going up at all. I'm feeling sicker each day and obviously no af as yet so I just don't know what to think but I'm going to try and get an appointment with my Doctor to see if he can shed some light on the matter. Thanks again for all your support. Em x

Congratulations on your hun! i'm assuming you are pregnant, my doctor told me it can take upto 2 weeks after M/C for your HCG levels to drop. I'd get your doctor to do some blood tests

Latest update on my situation - I'm not pregnant, there was something in my uterus, either a polyp or tissue remaining from the placenta that was keeping low levels of hcg in my system. I've now had a hysteroscopy and my surgeon's sent the results of that off to be tested. I also found out that the baby I miscarried would have been a girl and the embryo was a healthy one. I'm struggling to deal with all this at the moment but I was wondering if anyone else has gone through a similar situation and can say when their system got back to normal. At my last scan, the Friday before last, I was told that both my ovaries were ready to ovulate. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated. My doctor told us we could start trying straight away. Thanks x
