its very easy to get obsessed - most of us are!! just look at the poas thread!!!

We've been trying for six months too. My periods are all over the place since we started trying, so don't know when I'm ovulating and we get our hopes up every time!

Have read that thread and am so glad that we're not alone.

If it's any consolation, my periods have been really irregular since coming off BCP in October. If I don't get my BFP this month, I'll be trying out my newly purchased CBFM next month so I know exactly what's happening!

Sounds like we're in the same boat. I came off my BCP in October too! Thanks so much for replying to me, you've put my mind at ease.
I think that although deep down, I knew that it wouldn't happen for us straightaway, I was a little naive as everyone I speak to it happened for them immediately. I know six months of trying isn't long, but it does feel like forever. All I've ever wanted is to be a Mummy. We were waiting until we had the bigger house and stable incomes, now I'm gutted that it's going to take time. The pressures from the outside world are immense, especially as we've been together so long and to top it, I'm a Primary School teacher- with loads of babies in the playground each day!
