Does anyone elses eyes play tricks on them when u do a Preg test?

sometimes when i do a preggy test i swear my eyes play tricks on me

i duno if its cos i want this so bad or ive just stared at the dipstick too long but im sat here lookin at the test ive just taken and the more i look at it the mroe i see the faintest line

when i look away theres nothing there agen lool
damn my eyes playing tricks on me

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I do that too. Then I hold it up to the window in the front room, then I hold it up to the hall way light, then by the back door because theres more light and then in the kitchen where theres less light, all in hope that somewhere will help it show up a line!

I did this last month with one test, all the others i knew were negative but i could swear blind I could see a line on this one test, my OH was with me and thought Id lost it cos he knew there was nothing there.

Glad I am not the only one who does this. I'll climb onto the toilet so I am closer to the light, then go out in the hall way because lighting is different there and lastly I'll take it outside...natural light you know LOL

I do this allll the time. Every month. Haha I will go stand in the kitchen, or somewhere else and swere I see just the fainist line, but hasn't been a real one yet.

Last cycle I swear I saw a faint line. I'm short, so I had to stand on the bathroom sink to hold it up to the light.

I even took it apart. I was desperate! I'll even take it out of the trash and look at it at least 10 more times before giving up.
