New - need advice.

Hi ladies,
Had a miscarriage last saturday (my second) and now wanting to look to the future and start trying again.
know nothing about ovulating kits.. been lucky and got pregnant quickly in the past but i really want to get pregnant asap.. Does anyone know if having a miscarriage makes ovulating kits void and if you use them what do you look for and when do you test.. And whick ones r the best or does it not matter?
lol its a whole new world
Thanks xx

Hi, sorry about your losses
You can still use OV sticks after a MC. Order some internet cheapies as you can get loads. pee in a cup dip the stick and wait for test line then if you get another line as dark or darker than the test line you are about to ov (24-36 hours after). Or if you can afford it the CB ones you get a smiley face when you OV.
Good luck

Forgot to say that on the internet cheapies you may not get a positive (line as dark or darker than the test). I don't but i do get fainter lines then nothing so i must OV around that time. Obviously other signs help like EWCM or if you do temping, cramps, bloating, sore boobs etc

same for me - some people get more expensive clearblue ones and use them once they get a second line on the cheapies (I haven't tried that yet - having a month off testing as got too freaked out not have a second darker line last month if my willpower can stand it!).

I might start charting my temperature though...

I've got a positive cheapie this cycle, although I did run out and buy some good ones to confirm it (I don't trust cheapies) - just be careful, you HCG levels may still be a little elevated and give some false OPK's.

Good luck
