Hello ladies, If you don't mind having me, I just wanted to share a few things with you that might help your TTC Journey.

There are many many myths that pissed me off and frustrated me about TTC. I had friends say

"Just stop trying and it'll happen" although this DOES work for some, the not trying part has nothing to do with it. When you supply you body with the right product "sperm", it is going to do what its supposed to do, all we can do is help and when TTC, Our bodies can get all the help we want to give it.

The month I got my first BFP, I tried SOOOOOO hard, cause I wanted my lil baby that bad, and all my hard work paid off BIG TIME.

I was officially trying for 2 years, but I wasnt exactly careful for YEARS before that and I NEVER NEVER EVER got a BFP unitl my second cycle of clomid!!!!


When the doc prescribed it, I automatically wanted the highest dosage because I thought that would work best but I was wrong. I only had 50 mg, and thats all it took for me. SO be true to yourself and what you can emotionally handle, TTCing is a taxing situation, I know but hang on. If you ladies have any questions, feel free to ask, I still feel like this board is home so you ladies are close to my heart because I understand just how hard TTC can be.

I also used to stress because no matter how I much I checked, no matter how far up my birth canal i pressed did I EVER feel any EGG WHITE CM. I just didnt have it. One day a nurse told me, don't judge yourself by other people. It's YOUR wettest day of the month. SO don't fret ladies, cause I didnt use a bit of PReseed or anything.

I had many tearful days and angry days, but at the end of it, dont stop trying to reach your goal!!!

I also wanted to add that, I had tried EVERYTHING.........Preseed, Butt under a Pillow, no peeing afterwards, legs up in the air, ovulation sticks,....etc.......just dont give up ladies

You are VERY VERY welcome. I KNOW how you ladies feel. I have shed tear after tear, got angry at GOD, The docs and everyone else. So I understand. I just wish someone would have told me the same instead of selling the same ole "Stop Trying" story. It was getting old and I upset and tired. But dont give up hope, ever have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for your lovely uplifting post...we all need some positivity on this difficult journey!! I am taking Provera at the moment to bring on AF so can start my first Clomid cycle. Your success story is making me feel very hopeful!! Did you have any major side effects while taking Clomid??

So do you think it's just the Clomid that helped you? Or did you also still do the Bum pillow, not peeing thing? Just curious

I made sure i covered what should have been before and during ov
The start date would have been 30thJan and to b honest every other night til last sun7th,i went and did a silly thing earlier!!
I poas!! 1st response and got a neg!!I was told a while ago they arent great
Sounds mad but would look at those dates and check ov date?Please?
Im desperate!! Did i test too early?

I am getting sick of all my friends who either fell pregnant easily or dont have/want kids telling me I am stupid for charting and coming on this forum.

This forum has taught me so much about my body and I have gotten to know some lovely ladies through here! I dont know what I would do without you girls! It also makes me feel part of something really special!

I know I should stop worrying and try to relax more but at the same time I want to make sure I do everything I can to improve my chances of having a healthy baby.

I am also a VERY impatient person and I cannot just forget about it and carry on with life as normal, this is very very important to me and whether anyone respects or disrespects me for charting I will continue to do it because it makes me feel like Im doing something!

Sorry Rant over!! Im just glad that you managed to ignore those people and did things your way as that is what is most important - You being happy!! xxx

Well, the side effect that I had was hot flashes and blurry vision, which were not all that bad. A friend of mine had mood swings, which I didnt have at all. I can only say to make sure you take it on the correct days your doctor tells you. The first day of blood that you see isn't necessarily the first day you take the pill, make sure you take it when you KNOW your period has come and youve had proper bleeding. I would suggest taking it at night cause whatever side effects there are, will be experienced while you sleep and therefore you wont really know you've had them. And try not and take the clomid before you have to drive because of the blurry vision. It can be very distracting, but everyone is different.
