I'm Currently Feeling: | Another question - light periods..... Hey girls, two questions in one day - I'm on a roll.
The is more or less gone which is great but this morning I was wondering if having such a light period might be a reason I'm not falling pg? I know it might just simply be that it was meant for me to take a year or so.
(yeech warning - menstrual description, sorry )
My period consists of 'spotting' (well discoloured loo paper really) for a day or two then a day of medium when I use a tampon and a day of really light stuff when all I need is a liner.
So spotting-medium-light and CD 3 she's gone. Is it possible that my womb lining isn't thick enough meaning that even if a wee egg wanted to implant it couldn't? I tried googling this morning but all I got was stuff on PCOS and irregular rather than light and regular periods. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've never heard of lighter periods causing problems conceiving, doesn't mean it's not possible though. Have you talked to your doctor about it? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya, thanks Vickie.
I'm just starting my 11th cycle and I wanted to wait till after the 12th at least. I'm not 30 yet so I know I still have a lot of things in my favour.
As it approaches that 12 month mark though I do wonder if I want to go to the doctors - I don't think I want to know if something is broken with me or hubby. And I know that's daft, I've encouraged so many other girls to see there doctor and said that finding a problem is great cos only then can you move towards a solution. But for the moment I'm thinking proper medical ignorance is bliss!!
I'm sure it will be fine, just wondered if any of the other girls had been in the same boat. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | OMG that was like you described my AF. That's freaky. It hasn't occurred to me it could be a problem, I was just grateful it was short and sweet (gross mental image) with not much pain even. Basically most cycles I get one day of flow and even that is medium. The other two or three days are of spotting and so on.
If you find anything please let me know Nic, now you got me all worried. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh kyp, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. It just kinda occurred to me this morning as I was able to put on white knickers again!!! Hopefully some of the girls will be able to shed some light on it for us. May have to jump into the pregnancy area though? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | True, this would be far more useful if we find out women had this happen and yet got their BFP without a problem.... | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh look Nic, this looks good:
"Q:Could my very light periods be a sign of subfertility?
The fact that you have light periods does not make you any less likely to conceive than someone with heavier bleeds. If your periods are regular and around 28 days apart, and if your hormone blood tests have shown that you are ovulating, it's unlikely that your cycle is at fault.
