i took the pill for 11/12years and since coming off of it my cycles were irregular (24-36 days) but now seem to have settled between 31-34. I couldn't get to grips ith opk's as i now realise i was testing too early, i bought a clear blue fertility monitor which i used for the first month, last month which confirmed what FF said with my charts that i ovulate too late in my cycle

Me and Slip have been talking about (light periosd) this recently because we both also have really short periods and were worried about it - but I went to see my fertility doctor the other week and asked about it and she said that it wasnt a problem AT ALL - so dont fret - there is nothing worng with us - and it means we get back to BD'ing sooner!!

This all sounds like good news, and magic, I do rejoice in the money I save on tampax, but I still go through Annadin & Syndol - she kills me with headaches and cramps for days instead. I think its revenge cos she knows it's such a short visit!!

I've gotta say i'm really lucky though, I came of BCP after about 12 years and went straight into a 27/28 day cycle and by two months I became aware of ovulation at day 13/14 I thought I was pg cos my boobs just looked like water balloons all of a sudden!!! But i soon came to understand it was ovulation! they've never swollen quite that much since *pah* I don't even get the good side effects!!! So I shouldn't complain, I think I would crack up with a 32 day cycle or something worse!

Poor you! I'm lucky in that department but I still rememeber the AF agonies I used to get before I was on BCPs! My boobs can write a book all their own when it comes to fluctations - it doesn't half mess with your head! While on BCP aged 19-31 ish i was a nice 36C, BF with girlie, I went up to I don't know a 38 or something- BF for 6 months, then whoooosh - all downwards. Now I'm back to my 18-yr-old (pre BCP) 34 inch but slightly more droopy mongs. I want my old ones back! Had to get a whole new wardrobe of bras and I hate looking at myself in the mirror - I don't recognise myself. My boobs don't talk to me at all during AF, OV or anytime really.
