I'm sure it will be fine, just wondered if any of the other girls had been in the same boat.
I just wanted to say, i feel like this. I think i dread the thought of medical intervention more than i dread the thought of another BFN (if that doesnt sound too weird??!!).

The fact that you have light periods does not make you any less likely to conceive than someone with heavier bleeds. If your periods are regular and around 28 days apart, and if your hormone blood tests have shown that you are ovulating, it's unlikely that your cycle is at fault.

Answer provided by Dr Jo Lee"

Now that sounds much more promising. big happy smiles now. OPKs show positive and temps and pains indicate I do O so that's all good I think.

Hi girls! My AF is light like that - it might last up to 6 or 7 days, but there's almost nothing there for most of them. 2nd and 3rd days are tampon-worthy, but the others are just toilet wipes mostly. I think because it's so light it takes longer to emerge - if there's lots of it gravity must help! Anyway, I fell with my girlie 9-10 months after coming of the pill which I reckon is about normal, and I don't think light periods make any difference personally, but I'm no doc. Just rejoice in saving money on nurofen and tampax!

I thought oday that my light periods might be linked to my short luteal phase like the lining isn't having time to build up before it flushes out therefore an egg won't implant, seing doc on the 29th so ill ask that amongst my list. Does any of you girlies ovulate late?

I would try not worry to much. Every women is differant. In all the books it say that a period can last anything from from 2 to 7 days but says nothing about a period being light a sign of a problem. My periods are the same 2 days of spotting then medium then light then nothing.
If you are still concerned then go see your doctor.
I think really heavy bleeding and blood clots are more of a sign that something is not right.

I don't know when I ov as I've only just discovered OPKs this month (yes, a little late at 34 yrs old I know I know...) I'm going to start testing on thursday (well, I've already been using them since I discovered them on Thursday last week, but Thursday this week will be a day before they suggest using them. My cycle is 24-29 but has been know to be 18 and 30 too, so it's anyones' guess. I was on the pill for 12 years and I can't get used to these irregular AFs - does my head in!)
