April is my first month TTC and I am damn sure my body is being naughty, just to chuck a spanner in the works!

As far as I worked out the was due to show her grotty self on friday last week and in the 10 days before this I got loads of symtoms, occasionally felt sick, bloated, frequent trips to the loo, low back ache, cramping and tender BB's...I could have sworn I was preggers.

On friday i started with constipation and added another 'symtom' to my list. I have been testing everyday since last tuesday all with BFN's. Anyways I decided to go the docs for something for my constipation, and reeled off my story to the nice doc and she thinks I am not pregnant and I just have a water infection and constipation, ,which has caused most of the symptoms (apart from bb aches)and put me on antibiotics. (she says if I was preggers I should be testing pos now!)

Ive tested again this morning with two tests and still BFN's. (I'm turning into a poas junkie too!)
Im convinced my body is playing tricks on me this month as I dont think Im getting my BFN or the this month which has never happened before now.
Im usually always on time every month, never get this sore bbs, but yet again ive never taken this much notice!
Im sure Im not the only one that takes every ache, twinge, cramp, etc as a preggo symptom..am i???

I tried for two and a half years with my ex finance and nothing, my current partner was told he couldn't conceive without help and throughout all them odds we're here. If I can do it babes you can. I want so much to give you a big hug. Hold on to that hope hun. xxxxxxxxxxx

You aren't alone. Everyone TTC analyzes their symptoms every month. TTC is a very frustrating process

Have you just come off the pill? This might explain the symptoms and late AF as it can turn ur body a bit crazy, coming off the pill! x

Aw hun, my body does the same too, except it likes to increase the number of days that I start spotting each month so that the earlier I start, I think it's implantation. You are completely NOT alone with being frustrated with this whole process, venting about it is better than holding all that frustration in!

No TrixieLox, Ive not been on the pill for 5/6 years. OH and I have just used socks as BC until this cycle. I never have symptoms other than slight cramps and heavy bb's a day or so AF arrives so all these symptoms are new to me.
Even with my other 3 pregnancies, I dont remember any symptoms until 6/7 week mark. I have caught on all 3 within 1st month of trying too. I am a little older now though (30) so maybe your body changes a little.

April is my first month TTC too. I'm getting all sorts of weird 'symptoms'. Always needing the toilet, sensitive nipples, cramping, I think our bodies are definately playing tricks on us!

However, I've just come off of BCP so maybe that explains it for me. I think when TTc we definately pay more attention to every little twang.

I'm sure I'm gonna be a POAS addict too, I'm soooo impatient! xx

When PG with my little girl I didn't know about till I started suspecting something was up at about 9 weeks, tested with BFP at 10 wks (-ish - some confusion over the dates which was never resolved!!) Now we're TTC no2 and it's more, shall we say "planned" ie read "obsessively charted, timetabled in Excel etc etc) I want to know as early as possible, so after every BD I am looking for twinges, nausea, spotting, etc etc. My cycle is a bit irregular - 24-29 days - so I seem to be constantly thinking - is this it is this it is this it? So far, 12 months of BFN, but I'm determined to catch the BFP the actual goddamn second I conceive!!!!

You're not alone - been through exactly same thing this month. So frustrating. 2 weeks late and af arrived yesterday - gutting! Exact same symptoms as you, if it wasn't for all the bfns and eventual arrival of af I could have sworn I was pg. Keep us posted of your progress - good luck x
