I'm Currently Feeling: | TTC problems
I have been hovering in the background for some time, and recently decided to brave the big wide world of B&B!
My husband (39) and i (25) have been ttc for about 4 months now, although we are too early for propper doc intervention, we have spoken to them as OH has a lung condition (Sarcoidosis). This means that OH struggles to breath when we BD and as a result can't finish off, he also finds keeping his breath while self satisfying is difficult too. Doc advised that we should be able to qualify for assistance, either IVF or AI. Also i an a coeliac sufferer, and have been warned that i will have problems conceving!
Has anyone else been through this before?
What should i expect?
Is there anything that i can do ay home?
Does the old wives tail of a turkey baster actually work?
Are there any other things that will work?
Please help, slowly gong mad here. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I really don't have much in the way of wisdom to offer but I wanted to say like you guys are up against dire odds simply because of the mechanics of it. Is there any way you could change doctors and say you've been TTC on your own for longer?
Failing that simply try and retain your sanity till they can start properly assessing your situation and coming up with solutions! and for your journey. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Im really not sure hun, didn't wanna read and run though. Sounds like your gonna have to follow what the drs say with you both having medical conditions. Hope you got your soon though. You could try saving the spermies and BD'ing on the real important days only, would that help your hubby? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Stephie,
Just googled it and it seems you can do it at home - http://www.ehow.com/how_134305_artif...emination.html
it doesn't give much info about what to do it with "This procedure-- think turkey baster here--can be done at home by yourself, a partner, midwife or close (and about to get closer) friend." ( at asking a friend!)

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've heard how it is becoming more and more common for women to AI themselves at home, because it's less expensive and intrusive. You could definitely look into that. good luck.
and welcome to B&B |
