My oh keeps moaning that i am obsessed. I think that i was a bit ott during the 1st month of trying. I think it wound him up when we are out and about pointing at all the pregnant women and saying oh look theres another one (you seem to notice all the pregnant women and babies when your tcc)plus i was reading books all the time and saying did you know this did you know that don't do this and don't do that as it will effect your fertility. Now i just say to him i am fertile at this time make sure you are available. Its funny he doesn't say i am obsessed when i am dragging him into bed

i have to keep a check on my obsession as DH gets pressured and can't perform if ive put too much pressure on him, its happened for a couple of cycles now and again and i now try not to tell him when my temps looks good or my monitor peaks as i did tell him last month again and it did not have desired affect!!

Wow! I wish I could share this stuff with DH, but he's just not into the calculating thing. Don't get me wrong I wouldnt' change him for the world, but I just can't imagine him doing that kind of stuff! Still, we have been together for a loooooooooooonnnnnnng time and I know what things I should keep wraps about . When I can present him with a BFP stick he will be over the moon and I will pretend that "it just happened" and not mention that I cooked a special meal with a lovely bottle of vino 24 hours after I got a pos on an OPK with the intention of bding solely for conception purposes... yada yada! On the other hand it might be less tiring from time to time to just say, look I know we;re both knackered but tonight is the night so let's get jiggy for a couple of mins, I'll speed it up so we can both get some kip...... sigh

last month we bd'ed three times in a row once my monitor said high and by the fourth night i was just too knackered, lol, takes some effort this ttc malarky on top of working full time etc etc

My poor oh is so knackered and little me keeps putting my demands oh him. At least he knows it is just for a few more days and then he can have a good long rest until the next cycle.

I haven't told hubby about ANY of this. The only conversations we've had was to decide which month I'd stop taking BCPs. He feels that getting knocked up should occur "naturally", so he would totally think I'm obsessed if he knew I was on here everyday. OMG Journey my hubby is the same way. We're currently WTT until around July sometime. He doesn't know I'm on this forum, and I rarely bring up anything about TTC, because in typical male fashion, he thinks I'm obsessing, and it'll happen when it happens. I don't even know how I'm going to determine when I'm O-ing after I get off BCPs for fear of him thinking I'm trying too hard! I don't think most guys understand that this a big deal for us women! Oh well!

Lousielou, you are very lucky your honey is very excited to TTC. I can only hope my DH warms up a bit once we start! I have a feeling he may...
