We will be the exception. We'll both have regular cycles very soon, conceive as soon as our cycles are sorted, and will have little bubs by this time next year

<<--- we need it!!

You've both been off it a while tho? It's meant to take a while for cycles to settle down, once that's happened then your fine.

I'm on CD13, my first cycle off it. So, I'm not sure when will show up again, or whether I'm ovulating this cycle (I have EWCM, but I'm not convinced this means I'm ovulating)

But yep, once the cycles settle down, I'm getting preggers very quickly! That's my plan and I'm sticking to it!

Ha ha!
Well, I feel like your plans have to count for something, right?

I must say all of this talk has me pretty worried. . .

It's my second month of the BCP (alesse) and I'm already frustrated.

Have either of you tried the basal thermometer or the OPK to see if you are ovulating. If I wasn't I think that I'd want to know. . .

Good luck to you both!

I'll maybe try OPK after I have Cycle 1 out of the way. Letting my body get back to something resembling normal before I start with the OPKs or BBT charting (though I reckon charting would confuse the hell out of me, so if I do either, it'll be the OPK's!)

That doesn't mean to say I won't be obsessing about whether I've O'd or not this month though!

that is so true. I was on microgynon and logynon and it took my 12 months to start having normal periods. I will never go back on it now - and wish someone would've warned me about it when i first went on it. not that i would've listened but at least we would be armed with all the information before we went on it. I purposefully did;t come off the pill before we got married as i didn't want to be pregnant on my wedding day - but if i'd known the problems that i would have, then i wouldve come off it in advance! grrrr!
sorry for rant - just winds me up!!!

Me too.
I was on Loestrin until the end of October 2007 and had normal periods until January, then missed February and now haven't had one since 4th March, but no BFP.
What are other people's experiences with Loestrin?

I was on Cilest on and off since I was 17. It really helped with my skin which was why I have enjoyed taking it! Now my skin is terrible again But I have come off it a few times before and not had any problems - periods came back straight away. Now we're TTC and I haven't had a period for 4 months!Typical.

I'm still paranoid that I haven't OV'd despite the positive OPK! I decided that I don't want to get into the taking the temperature stuff as i think I would get obsessive about it and start worrying a lot more! And girls I think that often it's because we're so desperate to get pregnant that we get emotionally stressed and then we don't get pregnant! So we are just BDing every other day and trying not to worry too much about dates and stuff.

OK, well I'd like that to be true but in fact I am constantly thinking about dates and stuff!
